Probably not, but imagine taking a Flathead, Knucklehead, or an old Chief out for a long haul on a beaten-up, un-sprung seat. You can feel that in your teeth, right? That bone-shaking reality was the inspiration for Butt-Naked and our exclusive range of hand-stitched leather saddles and classic bike accessories.
Our Story
We are a UK company with a proud heritage. We’ve spent 75 years keeping motorcycle legends ‘alive and kicking’, supplying parts for the full A-to-Z of classic bikes - or as we prefer, from “AJS to Zundapp”.
We have been crafting saddles and seats for classic motorcycles for many years. We scour the globe for the best artisans, combining British design heritage with world-class leather and first-class craftsmanship from the UK, India, and Pakistan.
Quality is in our DNA as is value for money and commitment to customer service. We aim to give each customer a great experience and if ever we fail to meet those standards then we expect our customers to call us out , and give us the opportunity to put things right.
Our brands
We have several exclusive brands - Butt-Naked for our hand-crafted leather products, and Blazing Saddles and Lycett for some of our more universal products.
Our leather products include a range of solo saddles as well as tool rolls, fork bags, shocker and saddle bags. All are made from the highest quality hand finished and hand stitched leather.
Coming to America
We have been supplying a small number of lucky customers in the USA for many years, but now we have decided that everyone deserves a chance to experience our products.
So, from 2026 we are opening for business in the USA. Our US headquarters is in the great city of Austin, TX and we have a distribution warehouse in Los Angeles, CA. Our products are offered exclusively online and shipped fast with the best US carriers.
Starting out we will offer about 50 product lines on our website, but because they are all handmade quantities will be small. Over the coming months we will list more products and also accessories such as seat brackets, springs of all shapes and sizes, etc.
By early 2027 we will have 150 product lines available for immediate shipment from our US warehouse.
About that name...
If you’re wondering “Why the name?” - it's because one of our first riders swore our leather Sportster saddle was so damn comfortable he could ride it bare-butt from Austin all the way to Milwaukee. We don’t necessarily recommend the outfit, but we stand by the comfort.

Try our products – we think you’ll like them. We offer a no-quibble refund, but honestly? Once you’ve spent a day in one of our saddles, the only way you’re parting with it is if you sell the bike. And even then, you'll probably want to keep the seat.
